TDL (Tally Definition Language) is the language used to extend TallyPrime. You don't need to know it — just describe what you want TallyPrime to do.
Can you modify existing TDL?
Yes. An existing TDL can be modified — new columns, changed layouts or updated logic — depending on the TDL and its source.
Can you develop custom reports?
Yes. Custom reports such as salesman-wise outstanding, margin analysis or stock ageing can be developed in TallyPrime with TDL.
Can you customize invoices?
Yes. Invoices can be customized with extra fields, your own layout, logos, terms and paper sizes.
Can you fix TDL errors?

How much does TallyPrime cost?
Official list prices (excluding 18% GST): TallyPrime Silver ₹22,500 lifetime, Gold ₹67,500 lifetime, Server ₹2,70,000. Rental plans start at ₹750/month for Silver. See the Products page or ask us for a quote.
How much is TSS renewal?
TSS renewal is ₹4,500 for Silver and ₹13,500 for Gold for one year, plus 18% GST (official Tally prices).
